Ordering a custom radiator from Griffin. I was going to try to retain my stock radiator, but I was running into complications in making adapters for the size difference in tubing for hoses. 1.5" vs 1.75" and 2.25"

Which Radiator did you buy? My stock rad is on its way out and im looking into options to replace it. I eventually want to convert to a Cummins and want to make sure I buy a radiator that will cool it. Beautiful truck by the way!!!!
Yeah if I blow a radiator hose i am bummin'. I had to make a 90 with exhaust tubing adapters that make that big jump on the lower hose. I would like to know how much that radiator is and how it cools when its hot or under a load.
The 2.25" inlet is the tough part. When you don't have a/c, the tensioner is there :-( And it is tight. If possible, I would cut the radiator support and fit a wider radiator, but mine is already painted. I am having them make an angled inlet that is 2.25". I hope it clears. I'll let you know a price once I get billed :-(

Mikel would be proud of me lol. I took his advice on my radiator support.

Todd and Dave stopped by today to check out my truck. Todd is also becoming more interested in a Cummins swap.
I should have my summit radiator soon and then the fun begins... Today I installed the new u-joints in the rear driveshaft and installed it. Just so everyone knows not all of the u-joints on an M715 are 1310, the rear axle u-joint is a 1330. I had to get a conversion joint to go from the Dodge 7260 to Spicer 1330. I also installed the exhaust hanger. I have decided to move the battery to the driver side and I will notch the inner fender to do so. I also ordered an air filter for my motor.
Thanks to Mikel and Bob today for welding on mounting tabs to my new radiator. Bob also gave me a brief lesson on TIG welding. I had never TIG welded before and he was able to teach me how to lay down a half way decent weld. No where near what Bob and Mikel had demonstrated they could do.

I relocated the battery to the driver inner fender. I had to make a pocket. The radiator support and inner fender are off to paint.
