well, now that we moved into a new shop i can get some workdone. i fixed the floor board, the fender well, hydro brakes, and tomarrow im hopefully getting a 6.2
next i need to make some new shock mounts, im going to try and make duel shock hoops for it.
for the paint i used bondo undercoating, the stuff is sweet except the fact that it runs really easy.
heres some pics

ill take some pics of the doner truck tomarrow...its at my friends farm, and ive checked it out twice already, and the motor looks brand new.
i guess the story on it was he got it at a junk yard, it was in their becouse of a blow tranny and a leaky radiator hose. so he put a new tranny in it, and fixed it. and its been sitting since then in their (non public srcrap yard) $350
Dual shock hoops??? Please, resist the urge for having a large bank of shocks, its a waste of time and money if you are going to stay with the stock springs. The stock springs are SO stiff, that shocks really aren't even needed, or at least nothing fancy, and certainly not twin shocks per tire. Go ahead if you really really gotta have a ton of shocks, but in my opinion money and time could be better spent elsewhere.
ya, ok ill do one then, i still have to make new shock mounts though otherwise the shock hits my upper u bolt plate.
Lookin good Stampy keep the pics coming
