Well the time My window shattered, it was my truck, but I wasn't driving. Earlier it wasn't me, thats when Gil hit it. No big deal as I had already started getting ready for the swap. The branch just moved it up on the order of "things to accomplish" list.

I never thought about it till now. I have never done anything on this scale before. Do I now primer the metal and then add bondo to smooth it, or should I add the bondo and then primer? I am leaning towards primer first, as I am useing the rusty metal primer. Also, if you need to strip paint and don't want to scrape away metal, use one of the scotch brite pads that are mounted on a drill spindle. They don't take any metal and leave nice clean metal.

Good work... :)
Is there two walls... or is the inside finished the same? I don't know, never seen a 725 in person

Looking pretty sharp for not doing it before. Put down spot putty first and then primer. It will adhere better that way. If you need a lot of fill (I can't tell) then use bondo. But put the filler down first. Chris, with your front window out now would be the time to massage out those dents in the roof using a hammer and dolly. I wish I were closer as it looks like a fun repair. The window graft is looking sweet. One of a kind!

I was told to do the roof when we DA sanded the whole truck for new paint. I got it to run on trails, will just dent it again. I'm not worried about it. I Have decided long ago that a restored truck wouldn't see much use.

Looks like an armored truck now!

Yeah, I'm thinking of mouting lights on either side, but I'm not sure how to keep it from being too bright on me.
-
You could fab a shield for the lights like the old-time headlight hoods, just turn it sideways.

Thought about it, I doubt I'll mess with that project till I get the motor in.

It looks good and you should only need spot putty to cover any scratches because you welds look great.
I still think it would have been cool to make the fold out windows larger, but hey it works.
