The T-Case was half full of water and something that did not belong to it. All bearings, seals and gaskets must be replaced. And of course sandblasting and painting :)

Wow, sorry to hear about the water in there.
You can buy a rebuild set off of ebay for around $300.
Or, do what I did and buy the parts a piece at a time, shopping around on ebay. I didn't really save any money, but I was able to get good, USA made NOS bearings.
Here is a list of the part numbers at this link.

I have not yet learned that it would be easier to ask directly you professionals about these websites... I found the same site. But I spent one week time :) I have ordered the same bearings and the same number what were T-case (TIMKEN) ROCKAUTO and Ballbearings at torqeking. Each separate order only takes about 50 bucks for postage and 50 bucks taxes :( That's no funy
I'm still waiting for some bearings, Maybe they'll arrive tomorrow. Parts are at least ready to install. I hope, i still remember the installation order. Would you have good links?
Sometimes there must be some installation beer for help :)

Next question :)
Rear bumperets are not any markings, it seems that has been polished out? Now I have to resort to what I got from the front bumper, and I ask for your help again.
Below the pictures, I got markings visible by blowing soda.
Does it make any sense? What do they mean ???
Left of the bumper

Senter of the bumper

Right of the bumper

The top one is most likely 194th Armored brigade 2nd Division. The triangle is representative of Armor Units.
Middle of the bumper should be a 5" star
Bottom is most likely something like HQ or HHC or it looks like the 522nd Engineer Company was assigned to the 194th so it could be ENG. The 107 at the end would represent the vehicles "Order of March" which is what number it is in the unit.
You can also check by sanding on the lower rear of the tailgate as sometimes they were added there instead of the bumperettes.
Thank you BEAST. I am in contact when I need decals :)
It was not nice to see. When I disconnected the rear axle ... It had experienced the same destiny as T-Case.
Well. I have to start ordering the bearings again. And start cleaning.

Pics?
I don't know why you don't see pictures. Must login??? There are also a few more pictures in my album. If you want to see :)
Today the weather was so cold outside (-26 degrees) that the garage started to be cold. So I brought the markerlights inside the dining table to my wife's delight. The picture also shows the bearings that came today. Tomorrow to install them :)

After a few hours of fishing, the rear axle tubes were cleaned. Now all the bearings and gaskets have been changed.

I cut off ends of the cardan and next must to cut a suitable piece of hydraulik cylinder tube and weld the ends back.

Wow was did someone drag that truck out of one of your thousand lakes? I've only seen trucks that bad that had been in floods. Good work on bringing it back to life.
Trying to keep up with this restoration, but can't see the pictures anymore:(
Really...weird...I see them all...what the heck....
Yeah I can't see pics either. I tried on both my phone and labtop. Nothing. Not sure what is going on. I have never had any issues seeing pics before with any other post.
k8icu : I don't know where the car has been a submarine :) I haw told that the car would have served at FORT SILL Oklahoma. And donated 1988 Oklaholma fire department. Can enybady say anything about this??? Something???
What is this Box? Where is it in the car body? Is it right if i replace the relays the modern ones?
Have you added fuses when you have restored the car?

This time, I downloaded the pictures a little differently, are they visible?
That box is a relay box that controls the turn signals. It is used in the early style trucks. Later trucks used an electronic "box". I converted my 1969 truck back to the early turn signal type (because the electronic stuff was kaput and I like the original stuff).
Fin,
I would try and call Fort Sill fire department . I did this this with mine (came out of Oklahoma too) and the mechanic at the department and I talked for two hours about his old M715.
Here is the website:
http://www.sill-www.army.mil/USAG/DE...epartment.html
The URL had too many wwwwwww's :-)
Here you go
Here's a photo of the turn signal relay box. Not sure where I got the photo...not my truck.
Good call. Sorry bout the confusion. Should have been:
http://sill-www.army.mil/USAG/DES/fire_department.html
Thanks for the information. It's not easy to call the phone to the other side of the globe... Especially when you do not know who to call or where to call. Maybe even that moment will come someday :)
is this also relay box for turn signals? This was installed the car.
http://www.m715zone.com/vb/picture.p...&pictureid=820
That is your turn signal control "box". It has to be used with the electronic turn signal lever on the steering column. I had to change my column switch to match the relay box used on the earlier model trucks. Either one is appropriate as long as they are in working condition.
How do I know if I need a voltage regulator? Can I see the markings of the car charger? Now i start painting the hood. Really handy a small painting spary. Lockers easier to paint.

Something new again. I found a new (50 year old) carburetor in Greece. Is the carburetor pre-adjusted? Do you have any information?
http://www.m715zone.com/vb/picture.p...&pictureid=823
Yesterday I started look at glove box. There seems to be markings on the door??? See picture! What markings there have been usually?
http://www.m715zone.com/vb/picture.p...&pictureid=824
If you use wet/dry sandpaper with water, you may be able to sand away just enough to read what it says if you are careful. Some units put things like tire pressure, no smoking etc. on the glove box door.
Inquiring minds...
White surface paint that was painted, was so hard that when I knocked whit knife. Paint cracked :)
TP/25F and TP/45R

This looks like a lottery ticket...
There you go, tire pressure front and rear.
Yep, a motorpool add on of the front and rear tire pressure numbers. This along with some other in cab markings like "MAX SPEED ON BASE 35" or "NO SMOKING" were added at the motorpool level by the discretion of the base commander.

Here you can see the ones I re-created when I restored my M725.
Not winning numbers in this lottery ticket :/

Windshield, side window seals should be order... Can anyone of you tell me where to get it all? From one place and cheap ???
Are sliding pieces available?
http://www.m715zone.com/vb/picture.p...&pictureid=836
It took me literally years to accumulate those parts. Some of them were only available in left or right side. However, they come apart and you can swap the rubber and glass and repair/repaint the metal parts. Most of mine came from eBay which is not a good option to Finland.
I haven't seen the plastic track for the side windows to slide in for years.:(
Hindsight, I should bought a few for spares when I had the chance.
But, they weren't cheap then.
I bet that some resourceful Zoner who has access to a 3D printer could draw/make the plastic parts we can no longer get.
Sean Cassidy, Zone guy up in Canada might be a good resource here. He has done some neat CAD stuff, and might be able to point us in the right direction.
*Purists, please forgive this suggestion, just trying to help...
