Been watching as you post, boy you're quick. I don't have that kind of energy anymore, which is why I have been putting off a repaint. Looks great.

That does look mighty fine! If I had one that nice, I`d build me a glass garage door!
Wow that is super sharp.
Thanks guys. After being away on a business trip for the last few days, I'm hoping to pick up my glass tomorrow and hopefully get it all installed soon.
The painting is the quick and easy part of it, it's all the prep work leading up to it that feels like it takes forever.:D
Looks factory fresh, great job! Were you in the 11th CAB? I was in the 14th CAB in the Southern I Corps, Chu Lai, so have marked mine as close as I can recall.
you have a nice stable of MV'S
Well it's been several weeks now that I have been waiting on the glass guys to get me all finished up. First they cut the glass a little too big which was why I could not get it in myself and called them to come do it. After they discovered it was too big they took it back and re-cut it. Then once they tried to install it again, decided that they didn't like the way the gasket was fitting and pulled it all back out to order new different gaskets and that is where I have been stuck at now for over a week. I hope they can get me finished up soon as I would really like to get the M725 out and drive it for a bit before the weather turns here in Michigan.
Drive it as it was a M715 with the windshield down. :)
Is the 80's chevy style gasket not working or you trying something else?
The glass guys did not like how the one they ordered fit. It was an older style gasket like what was originally on the truck. But they didn't like how the locking strip fit so they re-ordered a newer style one.
Finally the glass is in! So I pulled it outside for a few pics. It needs a really good wash down as it collected some dust sitting in the garage waiting on the glass. But for the most part it is done until I get the new tires for it, then I'll blast the wheels and repaint them at that time.
Ok now everybody together, start humming the theme song to MASH!

Good on 'ya Mate!
Thanks guys, it was a great project!

Still looks the same as when it was done in 2013.
This pic was from Memorial Day this year

Plus there are tons of pics of it in the big picture thread I did for 2019,

Darn, I am so torn between the NATO markings that I had in Germany and the US markings that I had in Blanding, UT. Still undecided...
Don,
The solution is obvious. You need a second M715. That way you can have one of each and be happy no matter what mood you are in that day.
