Most places can't get them...I'll try AB Linn later
I talked to a rep at autolite today he said cross referancing the original part # from the tune-up manual the correct plug should be the 2384. I then asked what the differance was between the 2344 and the 2384 he said the outer shield was shorter on the 2384 and everything else looked the same. I'm trying to get a set from NAPA to check them out.
did u ever get the 2384 plugs?
Happened to be reading a old MV mag in the library and ran across a spark plug article in the Aug 2004 edition.2243 is correct for M38's to 10 tons,But our beloved M715 is speced with a AER72S ,both Autolites. The difference according to David Doyle's article is the reach, the 2243 being 3/8" and the AER72S 1/2".

I can confirm the Autolite 2344's work perfectly. I just ordered and installed a set from www.rockauto.com. Just search for 2344 in their parts catalog. They have them in stock.
