They sell a product called Tie-coat Primer. It is sandable. Brush or spray. Use over POR-15 and under pretty much any topcoat. You can use the POR-15 Chassis-coat right over the POR. I Think. Their website has all the answers.

I use Metal-Ready as well. Never tried the Eastwood products, but I've heard positive comments.
