The clutch springs don't like it as much.
This seems to be the biggest killer of those things.
That is the normal reason that answer has been given for the NV series transmissions.
Of course most of those stock vehicles had 3.54 gear ratios, which is a BIG difference compared to 5.87 gears :)
Honestly, I probably wouldn't worry about it as long as it is a short but smooth engagement when taking off.
