Okay, then is the driver side plate different? If you could find a pic, it'd sure be helpful.
And yes, I will accept the task of doing an "after action report/how to"
once I'm through. Wonder if there would be any copywrite infringements if I wanted to publish? hahaha

Anything you submit here is still yours to do with elsewhere as you please....
A write up like that would be SWEET!
I found a couple of pics with Barrmans writeup about his motor mounts...might help:

Scroll to the pics...

The drivers side would be just the same with the 230 motor mount on the other side of the steel plate.

Changed the contrast on my screen so I could see the diff. between the black and the blue (that helped) and I think I can see where he had to make the clearance cut outs for fitment. I have copied all this info on the printer and will keep it handy. Thanks tons, ...............Tracy

This is the only picture I have of my plates before I installed them. I think Poolmikes photo's say it all, but here is mine anyway. I can't get Imageshack to work today, so I uploaded this to the gallery. I am going to try and get the picture here and the link.

By the way, the other things in the picture are the lift rings I made for the bed and axle shaft blanks for the rear axle. I can pull the axles out and not loose all the fluid this way.

Awesome as always Barrman, Thanks, T

The axel shaft blanks are a great idea , been using them for years on other vehicles .I was lazy and just cut the axel shaft off the flange on some junk units .Saves time & clean up .
