Actually, what you see is an A65SS engine from a '67 Spitfire MkII. We're restoring it for a customer to its original specs. When it gets fully underway you can follow it on our website at http://www.rcycle.com

Considering that you are working on the ice cream mobile you should just leave the axles that color :)
The Front Dana looks like it came out of something like a M1008. Correct? Man thats bright primer. Your pulling me to a axle change.
They do sorta' match the truck now don't they? That primer wasn't quite dry in those pics, so it still looked kind of orange. Its flattened out nicely now.
I think that axle was actually out of a 1 ton pickup. It has 4.10 gears in it. Most of the mil stuff was 4.56. Not 100% on that, but I am sure Grantshire knows......
Looking good. I may be jumping the gun here but what is the plan for the steerng. The cross links no problem. But I believe the steerig box on a one ton chevy uses a outside frame steerng box.Kind of like a duce setup.
