I had one just like that mounted to the passenger firewall, cab side. The hot water came off the head by the rear 2 cylinders, passenger side of the 230, so it wasnt a long run...in 20 degree weather I had a hard time keeping the windshield clear or getting heat below my knees. At temps of 0 or lower, I had to keep an ice scraper in the cab because there was essentially no defrost action and I only had a little bit of difference between outdoors and inside...not counting wind chill...I could still see my breath...
In your climate it may work, here, no way...unfortunately...I spent good money and threw it away 2 years later.
