great build. I have something like that in mind for my m725. I've been thinking of a 90-93 6bt / spicer 3053A/ np205 with chevy dually d60 /d70 &H1 hummer wheels. I been looking around for series 1 6bt motors for their simplicity and lack of a computer.However I have seen many serie 2 12v motors for sale. My question is can a later series 12valve 6bt be wired to run on the same 3 or 4 wire hook up (instead needing a coputer) like the early
cummins 6bt? Thanks
Yes, for Dodge 98 was the split year where you could get the mechanical pump (P7100) or electric (VP44).
Buses and other companies continued to use the P7100. o you may find a p pumped 6bt with a build date of say 2002.
