ok....ill try that right now
ok, i looked, and seen some pics of the camo i want, but no stencils.....they have them for guns though...would this be hard to free hand?
i was thinking about primering the rest of the truck, and then have the military kaki for the base coat, and then work on top of that..
what paint should i use? rattle can?
If I were young and broke (as opposed to old and broke lol) I'd lay the base down and rattle can the camo - get some big pieces of cardboard and cut a random curve into the top and use that for the edges and free hand the middle.
^^^ good suggestion. One guy on here laid out all his camo pattern in soapstone first, then rattle canned it.
I plan on using rattle can OD on my 715 for the time being, and later doing it all with the good stuff. Beauty is, if you get it good and clean before hand it stays pretty well, and its very easy to touch-up. I found a rust-oleum that is very close to the USMC color.
Wal-Mart sells rattle cans in a variety of camo colors priced pretty reasonably. Just go for it....
ok....so doing desert storm should be somewhat easy then?
last night me and my friend rattle can camoed his toyota and it looks prety good, and we free handed the whole thing
Do it liquored up, the lines flow better. :)
i think the 4 color camo looks best... don't make it to purty.... free hand most of it and the camo pattern will look more authentic....

A real axe. A "I'm out of ammo, let me grab the axe", type of axe.
