Now no start
Something happened while just parked- now wont start. Coil is good, distributor good, electrical seems fine; has fuel, cranks but won't start. Suspect timing and have move distributor from one side to the other but no effect. Distributor was barely moved during coil replacement but surely timing slightly off wouldn't prevent starting? Any thoughts?

5 things to start. Air, fuel, spark, Compression, timing. It is usually fuel or spark. Maybe fouled plugs? It sometimes won't even sputter or pop with that. Maybe a short shot of starting fluid. It's pretty volatile. Todays gas is crap. Good luck.. Watching..

I read that your coil is good. But have you visually tested for a good spark? The newer Chinese coils have a high failure rate.
I had a no start in cold weather with mine from accidentally flooding it. Stock tornado can flood easily if not careful with the choke.
Wishing good luck. Keep us posted.

I've had a distributor cap go bad before on mine. It would run fine for days, then all of a sudden out of nowhere wouldn't start. I would take the cap off and use some fine sandpaper on the contact points and it would fire right back up and run fine for a week or so then do it again. Replaced the cap and it never did it again.
