Any recollection on where a rotating amber light was mounted on the M715 with cargo canvas installed? They were used on vehicles in convoy in Germany.

Interesting question...not one shown in our Active Duty Galleries...there are a couple more places I need to look but not sure if I will find anything...
Might be able to make a mount to the front top edge of the bed (between bed and cab) that bolts there but goes forward, toward the cab just enough to allow clearance for the front curtain?
Not really an obvious place to mount it for sure...
I believe they were mounted on the driver's side front corner of the cargo bed on an extendable pole that could be lowered or raised to be visible above the cargo cover. I do however have a photo that shows some M715's with the woopie light mounted off the upright for the windshield. I would think this is a terrible spot as it would keep you from lowering the windshield frame.

I agree, mounting on the windshield isn't a good place for it, thinking bed mount also.
Wow Beast...thats an interesting pic...I remember seeing that series but hadnt had time to search for them...didnt remember the beacon on them at all though...
I made a bracket from angle and 2 inch u- bolts to mount a convoy light set from a M35. Spaced out far enough to allow cargo cover to go behind it. Looks like something the motor pool would do.
