I just looked at one. The winch drum is set up to have the wire rope fed in either direction. So, if Braden went to the trouble of machining that into the drum. They must have felt the winch could pull its full rated power in both directions.
Then your only problem is the shifter on the PTO. Everything will be backwards. Since, it is just a single speed in both directions that should be easy. The Garwood 10K winch has a high and low speed IN selection is why I thought of that.
