winch bumper question
can someone tell me if the lower winch mounting holes are too high on the bumper? I couldnt figure out why I couldnt get the upper tabs to fit inside the bumper and not on top, then realized that all other bumpers I have seen have the holes drilles lower, I bought it from someone on the board some time ago.

Duane, the inside top of bumper should rest on top of the top winch mount.

the only problem with that is when I do that, the lower ( front) holes for the winch mount dont mount up, I am thinking someone made this bumper out of a factory one, and they drilled the front holes too high.

Hope this helps but sounds like mine is on wrong too if the bumpers are supposed to go above the tabs.

I am guessing if the winch bumpers holes were lower, the tabs could go underneath, the next problem is that the extensions would have to angle up also, the only way to do this would be to use smaller diameter bolts, or drill the holes out, I dont think the frame horns are bent down, because both extensions are on the same level. what size bolts go into the extensions to the frame?
