Glass mount CB antenna?

Anyone here ever used one of these before? Im thinking about going this route. It would only be for rig to rig trail talk.

They suck. No ground plane whatsoever. Stick to a traditional through the body mount (Wilson or K40) or a solid external mount with a good stainless whip.

Ok, screw it. I just talked to the boys at my radio shop and they said they wont even sell those in their store.
Im gonna go with my trusty Wilson 1000 hard mount.

I agree, . the through the class approach is not good on CB. They work okay on HAM and on Cell phone and commercial radio applications because the radio frequency is much higher. CB the wavelength is just too long to tolerate the interference from the glass. See, I remember some of that theory from my HAM license class. . .lol
