I was wondering if anyone has thought about putting a warn overdrive or something similar in a m715. is it possible?

Unless you know something I don't a warn overdrive only fits a smalle t case like a dana 18 or dana 20. Those would be fine for a smaller jeep, I don't think it would hold up that well in a 5,000 plus pound truck. There are other overdrives out there people have used. You'll get some more opinions on this I'm sure. I may eventually run a gear vendors overdrive or I may re gear. Not sure yet as my truck is Under Construction.

The Ranger is pretty sweet, if you're running a SM465. It also has the notable benefit of being functional in 4wd, unlike the Gear Vendors. It's also a bit cheaper. That GV unit is pretty dang pricey by the time you get all the wiring and adapters added into the cost.

OD is good.

Bob, how much for a set of 4.56's for front and rear stock axles?

With labor it's over a grand.

Lots of OD options for that price.

i buy used dana 60 gear sets for the front end cauze you only use them a low speed operation. but the rear end i buy new ones. randys r& pinion sells em cheap as i can to be honest. remember .5 offset gears not 5/8ths.
