Steering Problem

Ok Next thread. I have about 25 deg. of play in my sterring. The cv join connecting the column to the box is worn pretty good. AB Line doenst have the parts. Vintage or Memphis are out also. Can anyone suggest a new column that I can use to regain safe steering? Thanks

In the meantime, disassemble the joint and you'll find two little square blocks. Turn each square 90 degrees and you're done. It won't be new but it'll take up a ton of that play you have.

can swap in an FSJ column, but that requires widening the dash hole. Could also use an aftermarket one.

Not sure how capable you are with fabbing, but can alyways remove that completely and convert it to a u-joint.
