Has anyone that has done a 5.9 swap been disappointed with any part of the performance of the truck afterwards ? crab walking? too much weight on the front end ? anything ? thanks.

I have done a 4BT swap, so I can't comment on a 6BT.
What do you plan on doing with the truck?
I am going to use it as a regular truck. All around trail, road and pull a bobcat from time to time.
We performed that swap for a customer 10 years ago. He still uses the truck daily in his landscaping business.
Just in case you are not aware or it hasn't been done!
Take care of the killer pin while the front of the engine is accessible.
Just google "Cummins killer pin"

I had this problem on 12valve dodge. Luckily it didn't take out the gears -- just shot out and broke the timing gear cover.
Good luck.
