Roger's Pics

The beast is certainly a work-in-progress that is a long ways from completion, there are a lot of little details that need to be cleaned up:
shackles trimmed, wiring put in protective looms, gas tank added, and numerous other saftey precautions (most important a roll cage). I also have a set of 44" ground hawgs on custom wheels made by diamond racing wheels. After driving it in low, I decided there was not enough power so a second t-case is in the works. those large tires really take a bite and don't want to spin even with 6.72 gears! I also haven't even done anything to the engine yet. I still have to swap heads, install a cam and shaft rockers. Plenty of work left in front of me.

In the pics you can see the lifted 52" chevy springs that have custom mounts front and rear, rockwell axles, 500 cadillac motor, 16.00x20 tires (53"), frame mounted brake booster, power assist steering, and the list will go on. The truck was obviously built for playing in deep mud. I'll try to come with a web page that has more detail, better pics, and explanations. In the meantime I would highly recommend the power assist steering for all M series vehicles that have already been converted to power steering. The assist will keep in street legal and enable you to turn the tires with one finger with the truck standing still (mine can do it with the big block, deuce and half axles and 53" tires that weigh over 350 lbs each). Let me if there is any interest, it's very easy.
