My father bought this truck in 1997 from an army surplus hobbyist near our house. We bought it one winter after everything else got stuck in the snow, even a 85 horse field tractor! Needless to say we never had another problem in snow! We live on a farm and the road will live on is not plowed by the state of VA until a week after it snows. In short, we got fed up and bought something that would handle it. We have been using the truck for a little of everything ever since. I didn’t have enough money so the truck sat for the past 3-4 years. I just started working on it again. Only things that are rusted are the rocker panels under the doors. Cab and bed are fully solid. So far, I found a busted water pump, and the front seal is leaking pretty bad but I took it muddin’, ran circles around a ford with 7.3 Powerstroke diesel this same day. The truck is totally stock, engine, 24volt system, the works. Plan to get the engine straight before winter and a body off restoration planned for the spring. Enjoy the pics!
