Drew's Pics

Brute4c's note: I was given the priveledge of driving this 460 fuel injected, springovered, 4 wheel abs disc truck, and I will readily admit, it is such a performance increase over a stock truck that it is essentially in a whole new class from stock trucks and most modifieds.
Drew is running around 550HP at the rear wheels, has a bunch of articulation and the brakes will stop the truck faster than you can imagine....it blew me away. It's like driving a 6000 lb., very large Corvette.
Now Drew's notes:
I have pretty much rebuilt the truck from the ground up since purchasing it 5 years ago and now I am proud to say it is nearly complete (about 95%). In fact, the only major things remaining are to finish the wiring and install a roll cage & interior (seats, restraint harnesses, console, stereo).
So without further delay, I present pictures of my nearly-complete truck. As for the paint scheme, it is in keeping with the military theme of the truck (it is, after all, a retired military truck). Yes, I painted it myself (with some help from friends -- thanks Adrian!) In case you're curious, the bumper markings "5AFLW" & "5B286" are the original numbers the truck was issued with (5th Army Fort Leonard Wood, Vehicle #5, B company[?], 286th Engineers[?]). The reason the front wheels are off is because I am in the process of installing a front ARB air locker, which will be completed tomorrow afternoon.
